October 1, 2021 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
REGISTER FOR FALL 2021 RETREAT
The Teaching Academy Fall 2021 Retreat will feature a panel discussion, student testimonials, and opportunities to connect and discuss with colleagues from across campus. Amongst other themes, we will explore ways in which adaptations and practices adopted by instructors during the period of emergency remote instruction can enable more inclusive approaches to teaching in the “new normal.” We are looking forward to learning with our panelists:
- Ruben Mota, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator, Office of Compliance
- Patty Cisneros Prevo, Student Life Coordinator for Diversity & Inclusion, Wisconsin School of Business
- Britt-Marie Zeidler, Founder and Co-Director, Graduate and Professional Students with Disabilities (GPSD) Initiative, PhD Candidate, Dept. of Curriculum and Instruction
- Undergraduate panelists from the Student Organization: Advocating for Differing Abilities
The Teaching Academy strives to make our events accessible to all. Please direct requests for other accommodations to firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, September 24.
